Time to get moving

It has been more than a year since I started dissing people who were on my friends list. About time because I was just sick and tired of them draining my energy. The more I snapped or hinted on their behaviour, the more I realised it was pointing back at me. I was the one allowing them to create unnecessary dramas in my life. So, I decided to pull the brakes and let them pass by.
Funny thing is, as soon as I pulled the brakes, everything stopped too. I lost it all. I stopped writing, I stopped taking photographs, I stopped sharing my thoughts ... Have I stopped thinking or what? I dunno. I went into a lot of soul searching to start afresh, to put thoughts onto paper. I thought maybe by reading lots of these motivational materials out there, I would somehow strike something and find some inspiration to write. Write about matters that I can relate to. I guess I was searching too hard. It was all infront of my eyes. It's got nothing to do with my thoughts, I just didn't want to share my feelings with anyone anymore. I just didn't want to be an open book anymore. I didn't want to share my feelings because some people whom I have had the chance to know and at a later stage became my friends suddenly claims to know me very well just by reading my blog. This privilege of knowing me somehow went out of hand to the extent that it was used at the expense of my privacy. Hence, I had to put a halt to all these unnecessary self inflicted stress.
There are times when it feels that it is so quiet out here. But that's ok. I am optimistic that it is for the better. That is what I thought. Well, logic saved the day but you can't have it all can you? I pulled my brakes on every aspects of life that I loved sharing before this. I lost my passion for writing and photography simply because I no longer wanted to share my emotions and feelings. I guess it is now time to release the brakes. Time to get moving and share with the rest of the world again.

The Secret: Clutter Free for Better Energy
Let me ask about how you feel when you arrive home after work? Do you feel more drained out than you were at work?
Now, let me ask you something about your home. Is it buried under layers of clutter?
Clutter drains your energy thus affecting your health and overall quality of your life.
I know going through it can be a bit overwhelming BUT it is actually easier than you think. Believe me, I used to pile up "collector items" myself that the only way out is to open a museum! These "collector items" takes up valuable space and brings down your energy. But all is not lost. Don't fret. I will share some simple tips I have learnt over the years.
1. First. Go over a specific area - I said a specific area not specific areas - think small - like your bookshelf, work desk, or drawer - work around 10 to 15 minutes or 30 minutes, then leave it. Hey, you've done quite a lot for a start. Go back to it the next day.
2. Set aside three garbage bags - when you clean a big area, say your wardrobe or desk area. Remove everything and sort them out into the bags. One bag for items to giveaway, one to sell, the other for items you want to keep.
3. No you are not done yet. That bag, yes that bag with items you intend to keep. If you haven't used it for more than a year, give it away but if it has been useful and you have been using it, keep it. If can't make out what it is and it just doesn't make sense when you are going to use it, throw it.
4. For printed items though - please be selective. Keep your important documents like tax records, birth certificates, car registration, agreements or deeds aside. Magazines and newspaper can go into the bin.
5. Once you have your space back, take 30 minutes a day to tidy up. Remember, think small. Refer to number one. Always think realistically rather than think big and unachievable.
Remember, every area occupied is money. How much is your rental space per square foot? Multiply it by the area your "collector items" takes up. That is the cost you pay to rent for items of no value and you may never need.
Wouldn't it be better if you can find another home for it. Dapat berkat bersedekah. You will be blessed. And if you sell them, you earn the extra cash for better decor. Duit lagi. Try the clicking the ad banner below and see if it can be of any use to you to let go of your "collector items".

some niggling thought...
used to be...?
"used to be" means? what? The past, right?
Kenapa hidup anda masih di hantui bayang-bayang?Don't bother thinking about the past... just move forward. For as long as you live in the past, your life stands still and it is not moving. Does that explain your current situation? Tak bergerak. Hence your relationship, with whoever it may be, will never move for the better if you yourself refuse to budge to the next level.
Have you ever heard the phrase “don’t sweat the small stuff”? We waste too much of our energy worrying over small matters and over past issues, when we can spend time doing more beneficial stuff and improve ourselves.
So, stop being in a "used to be" mode - pick up the pieces and move on ... *author makes a mental note for himself too
